We are happy to announce that Data Content Manager v 4.3 has been certified by ServiceNow for the Paris release.

What does this mean for Data Content Manager users?

Quite simply it means that you can rest assured that Data Content Manager will run on Paris without issues. ServiceNow is very thorough in their certification process and to be certified pretty much ensures no headaches as far as platform compatibility.

We are not on Paris, yet. Am I affected somehow?

No worries. We maintain backwards compatibility for Data Content Manager with the two previous platform releases. Certification for the Paris release ensures future compatibility but does not in itself affect backwards compatibility.

We are considering using/testing DCM. Is there anything I need to know related to this?

No. If you request a free DCM Trial or if you install DCM into your production environment, you will always get the latest version from the ServiceNow Store.

What about the CSDM & PDMC Content Packs?

At the time of writing this, our Content Packs are being prepared for the certification process and they should be certified in time for the official Paris release. The Content Packs will run on existing installations without certification but before being certified, a new Content Pack cannot be installed into a ServiceNow instance running the Paris release. More information about the Content Packs here.

Get Started with Data Content Manager!

We are confident that after the Free Trial you will want to continue with DCM. However, if, for whatever reason, you are not convinced DCM will by far bring more value than it costs, you simply stop using it when the Free Trial ends. There are no strings attached!
